Pinus torreyana - the Torrey Pine - the rarest pine tree in the USA. It grows only at the Torrey Pines State Reserve and on Santa Rosa Island off the coast near Santa Barbara. (However we did see one at the San Diego Wild Animal Park once, too.) The rare Torrey Pine
