Capt. Roy Brown, the Canadian fellow who, with his Sopwith Camel, shot down the Red Baron's plane
Capt. Arthur "Roy" Brown, the Canadian pilot who, flying a Sopwith Camel, is credited with having shot down the Red Baron's plane by inflicting a fatal chest wound to the Baron.  Brown was coming to the aid of a fellow Canadian, Lt. Wilfrid R. "Wop" May, who was being chased by the Baron.

Some Australian scholars believe, however, that it was another man - Gunner Robert Buie - who brought down the Fokker Triplane.

Others believe it was Snoopy.
